Shadow Play, one of exquisite folk dramas in the East, enjoys great popularity in China. It is a kind of silhouettes which is made of hard paper and skin of buffalo and donkey. The performer manipulates the characters behind the screen while singing the libretto to tell the story. It is very amazing to watch shadow play in the local theater.
