Victoria Peak, locally known as the Peak, is the highest point of Hong Kong and occupies the western part of the island. It is the best place to see the stunning views of the renowned Victoria Harbor and the bustling Kowloon and Hong Kong Island at the daytime and the most spectacular display of lights when night falls.

Visitors can take the Peak Tram to get to the mountain top. The tram has been in operation for over 100 years, and has been always offering a safe and pleasant ride ascending the mountain. The journey aboard the tram will take eight minutes and upon arrival, you will see a enormous ship-shaped mansion called the Peak Tower. Besides the stores, restaurants and bars, there are several attractions inside the building, such as Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not Oditorium.
And then you finally step out to see the magic of civilization when you reach the platform of the tower -- the magnificent night view of the Central, the Victoria Harbour and Kowloon at the opposite side. With the wind blowing by, you gaze the brightly lit skyscrapers and are awed by it.
