Today's Activities | The glamorous city - Shanghai is your first stop in your China exploration. Upon arrival, the local tour guide we arrange for you will pick you up at the airport and escort you to the hotel. Then the rest of the day belongs to you. You can take a break to erase the on-flight exhaustion, or drink a glass of beer in the bar located in Xintiandi - famous “hang-out” place in Shanghai, or wander along the Nanjing Road - the most welcomed commercial pedestrian street, to enjoy the flourishing nightlife of this metropolitan city. | Highlights |

Today's Activities | The energetic tour begins with Yuyuan Garden where you get fascinated by the gorgeous Chinese classical gardening art, then move to the neighboring Yuyuan Market which embraces traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Next stop is The Bund showing the essence of Shanghai developing in war fire: dignified, elegant and prosperous. Later, the Oriental Pearl Tower, the 5th tallest tower in the world, will impress you with a spectacular realest bird's eye view of the cityscape. Take a tour to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall which records the last 20-year urban planning of the city and over 100-year history development and cultural achievements. Then visit the Silk Museum to watch the silk making process, and you may take some elaborate silk crafts as souvenir or present. If time allows, strolling around the City God Temple where you have an opportunity to enjoy the various local snacks and specialties. Today's Activities | Upon your arrival, our local guide will take you to enjoy the breakfast, then head to Tiananmen Square, the heart and soul of China and ranked as the biggest square in the world. Today's Activities | This day will begin with the Mutianyu Great Wall. It's convenient to take the cable car up to the top where the whole area is like a garden with a great variety of plants and all-year fresh air. Then turn your attention to the next stop - Changling Tomb, located in Ming Tombs (Ming Dynasty Imperial Tombs or 13 Ming Tombs), which was the first and largest mausoleum built for Emperor Zhu Di. On your way back to the hotel, you can have an exterior view of the modern-styled Olympic Stadiums Bird's Nest and Water Cube, or take some photos in memory of them. Xi'an features distinctive cuisines of China Northwest, such as various-shapes chinese dumplings and other wheaten food. At Muslim Quarter, where gathers lots of delicious local food, like Rou Jia Mo and shish kebabs, etc.
(1) As a must-try for visitors, Chinese Dumpling dinner served by Defachang Reataurant is highly recommended. Dumpling is also named Jiaozi, typically consisting of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. And it belongs to an [add on] item in the tour.
(2) One of the best places to sample the dumpling is Defachang Restaurant. Here you can experience Xian's famous "Dumpling Banquet" where you get to feast on many different types of dumplings that come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors and flavors. For example there are tiny pearl dumplings, dumplings made from black rice and fruit-filled dumplings.
(3) Also, Muslim Quarter is a fascinating area where you can taste many authentic Islamic snacks, like beef or mutton Rou Jia Mo (Chinese Hamburger), northwestern style noodles, Yangrou Paomo and many other attractive snacks that will not make you disappointed. The restaurants and eateries here are serving their food in budget prices.
(4) Friendship Restaurant at Terracotta Museum, is famous for the noodle-stretching performance. You can also enjoy the delicious local cuisine here, such as Mutton Paomo, which is also called mutton soup with pancake pieces.
