Today's Activities | According to your arrival time, we will arrange our English-speaking guide to pick you up at Beijing Airport, and the guide will accompany you in a comfortable vehicle to the hotel and help you with the check-in procedure. The rest of the day is flexible at your will, and you can have a rest or take a look at Beijing city near the hotel. |
Today's Activities | Our coach will collect all group members at hotel firstly, then take you all to world-famous Tian'anmen Square. It is regarded as the political center of China, where you can see a huge Chairman Mao's photo hanging on the wall of the grand red tower on the north side of square. After all of you finish taking photos and visiting around, we will move on to the fabulous Forbidden City by walking through the north royal gate of the square. As the highlight of today's activities, this attraction vividly places you into a time machine, letting you travel back to touch the passed glory of Ming and Qing dynasties. In the afternoon, we will hit the Temple of Heaven, it was used to be a location for the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiping heaven and praying for good harvests. Qinian Palace and Echo wall are main attractions. Later we will head for Summer Palace, where had been a luxurious holiday villa for royal family of later Qing dynasty, and was built by full support of well-known Empress Cixi due to her poison extravagance. Unique ancient Chinese garden and buildings can be appreciated here. |

Let us conquer the Badaling Great Wall in the morning! The bus will pick you up at hotel and then transfer to the root of Badaling Great Wall. Along the whole trip, our tourist guide will fully support all of you, telling some interesting Chinese historical stories and helping out any needs. After climbing up the Great wall and looking at its amazing boundless sceneries, you will get an exciting experience and then have a group-toasting dinner at the root of Badaling. In the afternoon, the coach will take you to discover the mysterious Ming Tombs, and this time we will visit the most grand Changling Mausoleum. Although it has a history of more than 600 years, the mausoleum has been perfectly preserved. Lots of unbelievable Chinese royal traditions will feed your mind. Today's Activities | The lovely gaint panda and other precious animals in Beijing Zoo will cheer us up, and the fresh air and beautiful sceneries of Beijing Zoo will give us a sweet morning. Then the bus will take us to visit Lama Temple for appreciating Tibetan buddhist temple buildings and know about interesting stories between royal family and Tibetan leaders. In the afternoon, we will shift to explore Beijing Hutong by rickshaw to know more about the life and culture of ordinary Beijing people. This visit can provide you with a distinctive travelling experience compared with other attraction. At last, your group will stop at the outside of Bird's Nest, recalling your colorful memories of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Today's Activities | After approximately 12 hours on the soft-sleeper train, you'll reach Xi'an and get transferred to Xi'an downtown hotel. Banpo Museum the items ancient people used are rich, showing typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture that traces back to 6,000 years ago. And our next fun is the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, perhaps you have seen them many times on TV or magazines before, but it's a total different experience to see them on the spot. Also with a sidetrip to Mausoleum of the Qin Emperor, who owned this awesome underground kingdom, you would know more about the first dynasty of China - Qin dynasty. Today's Activities | Today in the morning you'll be collected to see another glorious place - Big Wild Goose Pagoda of Xi'an. It was built in 652AD and showing you the elaborate architectural art of Buddha buildings. Afterwards we will head for Ancient City Wall, and you're strolling as if in a magical time passage. Besides, you'll spot Bell Tower and Drum Tower on the Ancient City Wall. There was a rule that the bell in a city was stricken at dawn and drum at sunset to indicate the end of the day in ancient China. What's more, go down from the City Wall we'll move on to Bell Tower and Drum Tower to unfold mysterious layout of ancient China city. Listening to the sound of the drum at dusk is for sure a gorgeous experience. At last, our tour guide will take you to airport. Xi'an features distinctive cuisines of China Northwest, such as various-shapes chinese dumplings and other wheaten food. At Muslim Quarter, where gathers lots of delicious local food, like Rou Jia Mo and shish kebabs, etc.
(1) Here we highly recommend Chinese Dumpling Dinner, which also named Jiaozi, typically consist of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. As a must-try for visitors, it serves with Tang dynasty show. And it belongs to an [add on] item in the tour.
(2) Rou Jia Mo, also called Chinese Hamburger, is very similar to the Western hamburger essentially, but with different cooking method.
