3 Kunming - Dali (B,L) Transfer by flight |
Take a morning flight to Dali. Our activities today will include visiting the Erhai Lake Park, the Three Pagodas and the South Gate of the Dali Old Town. Later today have a stroll down the Foreigner Street.

Yet another representative of ancient Chinese architecture, the pagodas at Dali are stately and well-preserved. Each pagoda is home to Buddhist scriptures and significant cultural relics. |

4 Dali - Lijiang (B,L,D ) |
After breakfast, drive to Lijiang. Visit the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou and the Tie-Dye-Cloth workshop at Zhoucheng. Enjoy the Naxi Ancient Music and Dance Performance at Dongba Palace. |

5 Lijiang (B ) |
Today we will pay a visit to the Square Street of the Lijiang Old Town. The rest of the day is yours to explore the town at your own leisure. |

Two of Lijiang's most noteworthy aspects include its unique architectural style blended from a variety of cultures as well as an ingenious ancient water-supply system that still functions. |

At the heart of Lijiang Old Town, it is a shopper's paradise where one can wonder to his heart's content through stall after stall of art and crafts. The wary negotiator can find great bargains. |

6 Lijiang (B,L) |
First visit the Dry Sea, take the cable car at Yak Meadow and overlook the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Then drive to the Baisha Village to visit a local Naxi family and the Baisha Murals, and the Yuhu Village to visit the Rock Joseph's Former Residence. |
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain: |
Sitting at 18,000 feet above sea level, the mountain is named for its dragon-like appearance and holds both a famous glacier and a variety of rare wildlife and precious plants. |
Baisha village : |
Mural paintings in the village gracefully portray the different religious cultures and artistic forms of Buddhism, Lamaism, Daoism and the Naxi Dongba religion. |
Former Residence of Joseph Rock: |
Joseph Rock spent most of 1922-1949 traveling Southwest China as an explorer from his base near Lijiang. He wrote articles for National Geographic and introduced Shangri-La to the world. |

7 Lijiang - Kunming (B,L) Transfer by flight |
Fly back to Kunming today and visit the Golden Temple, the Daguan Park and the Birds and Flowers Market. |

It is the home of the Taoist Hall of Supreme Harmony and the largest copper temple in China. |
Birds and Flowers Market: |
Kunming is a paradise for flowers and birds. The market there is full of exotic species of both, making it an excellent place to leisurely stroll around and take in the sights. |

8 Depart Kunming

You will be at your leisure today until the tour guides escort you to the Kunming airport for you flight to your next destination. |
