You can say hi to Guilin landscape via Li River Cruise, the most regular way. However, can you just cycle all the way around Guilin and hold its natural attractions in your arms? The tour is right here to offer you such a gorgeous opportunity. Besides, you’ll learn more about Guilin by cooking local dishes and visiting local minority villages. So stop hesitating and jump at it!

Day 1 Arrive in Guilin

Today's Activities

When your flight arrives in Guilin, a city famous for its amazing landscapes, our local guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel. Today is mainly about restoring your vigor, but you wouldn't feel any bored cause the water city Guilin will entertain you with series of water parks. The area of Two Rivers and Four Lakes is highly recommended.

Day 2 Guilin - Ancient Zhuang Minority Villages - Ping’an Rice Terraces – Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Let’s set out from downtown Guilin at about 9:00 A.M. With 2 hours driving you would arrive at the over-400-year Ancient Zhuang Minority Villages. During the next 1 hour you’ll be shown around the sea of well-preserved stilted buildings whose scale is on top in China, immerse in the ocean of stone-shaped items such as stone path, stone bridge, stone mill, stone temple, etc. Note the carved lotus, sword, Tai-chi mark and the like in these stone tools and buildings and don’t miss the highlight Conjoined Tri-Fishes Stonecutting when you walk across the Wind-Rain Bridge. Meanwhile you also have a look at the featured headwear and garment of the Zhuang villagers, hearing their amazing ballad.

Since finishing the visit of Ancient Zhuang Minority Villages you’ll hike 1 hour towards Ping’an Inn that provides the lunch. Surprisingly you’ll discover fantastic rice terraces lies between Zhuang Minority Villages and Ping’an Inn. The good and unstirred scenery almost covers the whole hiking distance. What’s more, part of the hiking path even stretches right into the rice terraces, which is for sure a wonderful experience for all the hikers.

After the lunch, you’ll continue hiking for about 20 minutes till you reach No. 2 attraction of Ping’an Rice Terraces, The Moon in Company of Seven Stars. Just enjoy the magical joint work by nature and human intelligence. Afterwards let’s walk about 1 hour downhill to the parking lot and drive back to downtown Guilin.

Day 3 Cycling: Guilin - Daxu Old Town - Crown Cave - Caoping Town(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today's Activities

Your wish of savoring Yangshuo countryside finds the best manner, cycling. During the 4 hours of easy breezy cycling from downtown Guilin to Caoping Town (30km), you will get the idyllic Yangshuo panorama into your vision and mind. Delicate huts, cattle, cowherds and flourishing farmland all whisper the secret of carefree lifestyle that has long withered in metropolises. You’ll further spend an amazing night at Foggy Resort, Caoping Town.

What’s more, there are two attractions during the 4-hour cycling, Daxu Old Town and Crown Cave. Simple happy lifestyle is kept unstirred at the time-honored town and magic of nature is strongly demonstrated in Crown Cave.

Day 4 Cyling: Caoping Town - Xingping Town(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Today's Activities

You will go on with 4-hour cycling from Caoping Town to Xingping Town (37km) today. The beautiful scenery you had yesterday displays again, yet you wouldn't feel bored. You’ll further spend another fantastic night at Laodifang Youth Hostel, Xingping Town, to fully appreciate tranquil night of Yangshuo.

Day 5 Yangshuo countryside Cycling (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Today your cycling tour reaches the pretty terminal, downtown Yangshuo after 3 hours cycling on even paths from Xingping to Fuli Town (40km). Fuli Town, about which you may not know much, is an origin of delicate big fans. Picturesque Guilin landscape is stitched onto those fans, making them the best souvenir for your travel around Guilin and Yangshuo.

Day 6 Yangshuo Cooking Class - Free Time(Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Hands-on experience of Chinese cooking in Yangshuo Cooking Class! You will have your 4-hour class in traditional Chinese farmhouse in the countryside. Savor an exploration tour to the Yangshuo market along with the practice of cooking local dishes. Note that the dishes you cook are your lunch; so don’t mix up!

The whole afternoon is for your own arrangement. Here we recommend West Street to you. There your heart will be filled with happiness when holding Inexpensive featured handicrafts and snacks in your arms and Your fatique will be relieved at romantic Western bars.

Laodifang Youth Hostel: Just 27 km outside of tourist hot spot Yangshuo,the hostel lives in a small town named Xingping which has 1740 years old. The rooms have private bathrooms with western style toilet. They are spacious and nicely decorated with woodcarvings. Some rooms have a big wooden balcony with rocking chair so you might enjoy rocking back and forth seeing the sunset.

Hello Allan,

The Li River Cruise was so exciting. The Li An Lodge was excellent, and its rooms were so individual and elegant-looking. From the room my family and I enjoyed a spectacular view of the minority celebrating their harvest with torches all over the mountain. Plus, I love the Ancient Zhuang Village so much. It was a fairyland every inch. We would sure come next spring to see the glossy ponding rice terraces.

I have appreciated a great deal you professionnalism since November 2011 while preparing the extension part of our trip in China. I was very pleased about the fact that you did all you could to contact us for the Shanghai/Guilin flight time change. Also I was happy talking to you in Yangshuo when we asked for a "western style" meal !!!

Concerning the whole package you organized for us I can say that we were very satisfied about eveything. In Guilin and Yangshuo, Jennifer was very nice with us. She did all she could to please us. In spite of the bad temperature the day of our arrival and the next one, we found Guilin, the Li river, Yangshuo and its countryside wonderful, and the show absolutely extraordinary.
