Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai - Free time

Today's Activities

The night is your free time. If you feel like experiencing a vibrant Shanghai nightlife with your family, you may as well leave the hotel for the most famous Nanjing Road and The Bund. Take Metro Line 2 to the People’s Square Station and the 1,599-meter-long Nanjing Rd. (East) is right there, You may get dazzled by the world of Garment, shoes, jewelry, accessory, snack and souvenir…Walk about 15 minutes from Nanjing Rd. (East) and you have the amazing night view of The Bund, the beautiful silhouette of Baroque buildings and the landmark Oriental Pearl Tower.

Day 2 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Have you been attracted to the mysterious traditional Chinese garden for long? Today let’s unveil it. About 9:00 A.M. set out for Yuyuan Garden. The elaborately crafted halls and pavilions are with great wisdom arranged to join the lotus lake, greenery to make various pretty images before your eyes. So fully appreciate the Garden in 1.5 hours or so. Neighboring Yuyuan Garden is Yuyuan Market, where you can feast your eyes with numerous Chinese arts and crafts in a lively atmosphere.

Your children will sure like the next stop Shanghai Children's Palace, a center for children's extracurricular activities, including art, model making, science, etc. The palace also hosts many performances and contests for children. Let your children make friends with Chinese kids. That would be big fun.

You must want to know the legendary growth of Shanghai, OK, Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center comes next to satisfy your curiosity. Groups of sand tables show you the unknown fishing village Shanghai once and the world-famous metropolis nowadays. The interesting 360 Deg. Experience Hall within the center is most welcomed by kids and anyone with strong curiosity. Don’t skip it!

The last stop is Oriental Pearl Tower. Go and end the thrilling day on the 468-meter-high skyscraper with the dazzling Shanghai cityscape night right under your nose.

Day 3 Shanghai (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Enjoy your whole day tour in Zhujiajiao Water Town, which is nestled in western suburbs of Shanghai. You’ll take the beautifully decorated boat, cruise along the canals and see the old residences, shops and bridges that are full of classic architectural tone in Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911).

Apart from the cruise, you also have free time to explore this old town. Some spots are recommended: Post Office in late Qing Dynasty, Ping’an Bridge, North Street, Shanghai Handicraft Museum, Free Life Bridge. At 5:30 P.M. let’s say goodbye to Zhujiajiao and drive back to downtown Shanghai.

Day 4 Shanghai - Departure (Breakfast)

Today's Activities

No kid will be happy if his or her parents skip the lovely giant panda in Shanghai Zoo. So make a full family tour for your kid by visiting giant pandas as well as other 6,000 kinds of animals in Shanghai zoo.

Next you’ll bring the whole family to experience the fast speed in the world. In 47 minutes the incredible maglev train will get you to Pudong International Airport from Metro Longyang Station, putting a happy period to your tour in Shanghai.

In Shanghai we have Matthew (Mr Fan) as tour guide and he is also a great tour guide! He looks after us and making sure we are not conned by the taxis and also other things to look out for. He makes sure the driver drives safely and also not to talk on the mobile phone while driving. Many minor things are well taken care by Matthew. It seems minor but it means a lot to us! He has good knowledge of Shanghai and we will recommend you to use him often as a tour guide for your other customers!
