Day 1 Arrive in Guiyang and transfer to Kaili

Today's Activities

Upon your arrival at Guiyang, our local guide will pick you up at Guiyang Airport. If time permits, you will visit Jiaxiu Tower and Qianling Park, and then transfer to Kaili. In the evening it is free for you to stroll along the local market, experience for yourself the local life, and buy some so uvenir. We will spend the night in Kaili.

Day 2 Kaili - Wangba Gejia Village - Qingman Miao Village - Shiqiao Village (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours to visit Wangba Gejia Village, which is north of Kaili and near Chong' An River. On the lunar calendar of September 26th there is Lusheng Festival in which the Miao people sing folk songs, dance to the music of Lusheng, and race the horse, etc. Gejia people is a branch of Miao nationality, but they have their own language, costume, habits, belief, and etiquette. You will have a close touch with Gejia people's life. In the afternoon you will visit Qingman Miao Village. It is famous for the Zhouxi-style skirt the Miao people wear. The Zhouxi-style skirt is a kind of pleated skirt, belonging to one of the short-skirt Miao costume. Then continue to visit Shiqiao Miao Village to see how paper is made in traditional way.

Day 3 Kaili - Jidao Miao Village - Paika Miao Village - Datang Miao Village - Guiyang (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

After breakfast, departing from Kaili downtown hotel, we will drive 20 minutes to visit Jidao Long-Skirt Miao Village, which is a well-preserved village with strong Miao flavor, and is well-known for old Miao folk song, granaries, and bluestone roads. Afterwards, we will visit Paika Miao Village, where you will see how Lusheng is made, and learn to blow the Lusheng. Lusheng is a kind of reed-pipe wind instrument, popular in Miao nationality. If you visit here in the spring, you can also watch spring ploughing. Then drive 20 minutes to Datang Miao Village, a short-skirt Miao village where women villagers wear 'mini-skirts' all year round. The village is also famous for a group of granaries on the water. Later, head to Guiyang and stay overnight there.

Day 4 Guiyang Departure: see-off at Guiyang Airport (Breakfast)

This is the last day of your tour. The guide will take you to Guiyang airport for your flight.
