Today's Activities

Today your eyes will alter between the sight of the modern and that of the vintage. After breakfast the private car will take you straightly across the new city axle till Flower City Square. Wow, what stunning new landmarks the square gives you- Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum, Guangzhou library, West Tower and Haixinsha Asian Games Park, yet the more exciting doesn’t come until you’re lifted to the summit of the 600-meter-high Canton Tower. Every inch of the flourishing post-2010-Asian-Games Guangzhou is exhibited under your nose!

After landing gently from Canton Tower and having lunch, you’re for the vintage profile of Guangzhou. The car will drive towards Liwan District, the old town. Present are over-900-year-old Renwei Temple, arrays of typical Qilou (Arcade buildings) and exquisite Xiguan Mansions around Litchi Bay. What’s more, the old town prepares an intense cultural coexistence for you. Just several blocks away from Litchi Bay, the European-fashioned Shamian Island turns up.
