After the 9 A.M hotel pick-up, let’s without any delay go touch the newest face of Guangzhou at Flower City Square. You must be wowing at the gorgeous features that make the face glow: Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum, Guangzhou Library, West Tower, Children’s Palace and Haixinsha Park of Asian Games. Yet where’s the handsome nose of the face? Dash ahead to the 600-meter-high Canton Tower. Keep your eyes and body being lifted up to the summit, you’ll see every bit of the flesh of Guangzhou.

In the second half day you’ll experience a watery landscape rather than the overland scene. Stroll in Litchi Bay and catch sight of the traditional Xiguan lifestyle: grandma fanning for herself enjoying afternoon leisure beside the Sliding Swinging Door of her house, families selling their home-made water chestnut cakes along the banks, exquisite above-the-river theater letting fly of Cantonese opera melody…Happily and unconsciously the night color shades the city.
