Today's Activities | Around 9 A.M. the guide and the driver will pick you up from the hotel and steer toward the 1,400-year-old Liurong Temple. Get your eyes ready to be thrown open by a brilliant blossom-like pagoda, which towers right behind the front gate of the temple. Then turn your attention to Yuexiu Park, some 20 minutes drive away Liurong Temple. You’ll find the most famous Five-Ram Sculpture and Zhenhai Tower spring to your real vision from those pictures you’ve seen! The next attraction, Chen Clan Academy, would engage your eyeballs firm. A million of carved figures, animals, plants, buildings would proudly show you the elaborate way they are in the 1-hour-long tour of the Academy. Well, put an end to the tranquil first half and steer to the bouncy springy latter half. Drive about 15 minutes to Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street from Chen Clan Academy. Look at it, a 1,200-meter-long showcase of Arcade Buildings (Qilou in Chinese). Look closer and catch sight of countless cute snack bars, boutiques, jewelry shops, shoe stores, all the things about chic. In the midst of shopping happiness, the night falls and Guangzhou looks even more twinkling. Here we switch to Pearl River Night Cruise and have full fun, for straight 60 minutes cruising downstream, watching gorgeous skylines of the city and savoring buffet dinner served on the cruise ship! |
