Beds had nice bedding and the bathrooms were large. The outdoor pool was nice for exercise and had a children's pool. We weren't impressed with the breakfast buffet's food choices or seating area. While the hotel staff was polite they weren't necessarily friendly! There were good restaurant choices nearby but you had to take a cab to go to the downtown shopping area and Shamian Island.

The Rooms were clean and relaxing with all the amenities possible with. The Food at Breakfast buffet was very good and all the staff from servers to bellboys and front desk were very helpful and polite. I upgraded the room when offered at checkin to executive floors which was about 50% higher but The room size was double and lot of extras were included such as Breakfast buffet and High Tea/ Cocktails etc.The Décor in the rooms was very modern and clean with highend washroom. It was very close to Starbucks, Seven Eleven, Barista, Mcdonalds, KFC, Barista and lot of other Bars, Taverns and restaurant.
