- Hotel room and staff were great! Room was very large with all the necessary amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful on several different occasions. The only downside on the hotel is that there is a definite lack of dining options. The only options available were two different buffets (Chinese or Western) or the coffee shop. Coffee shop was more of a bar/lounge than a coffee shop and food selection was somewhat limited. Food quality was fair. On second night, we ordered delivery from a local restaurant with hotel staff helping to arrange – again, they were very helpful.

- I would reccommend this hotel to anyone. It is wonderful luxury hotel. Most of the staffs are capable of speaking English which is very important in China. The bed itself is firm and comfortble compared to other hotels I have stayed before in China. Bathroom is very clean and oversize. Royal Mediterranean is truely 5 stars hotel.

- it was a perfect luxury 5 star hotel especially for business people and couples. Near by 20min walking are 2 big shopping malls. Next to the hotel the computer area very busy. I will be back next time.

- Large/decent size room, huge bathroom, an absolute 5-star hotel with easy access to shopping. Highly recommended! The only downside is for currency exchange, this hotel only accepts USD and Euro.

- This is definitely a very nice hotel. The lobby is elegant
with Egyptian style. We took the standard room, which was
pretty good in all respects. Big, bright and comfortable.
The bathroom was large, modern, classy and of course very
clean. There is even a plasma screen TV you could watch in
the bath. The breakfast was good with a nice selection of
foods catering to all tastes.
Though the staff was friendly, the service was inadequate.
I requested the lobby assistant manager to re-confirm my
ticket to Dubai from Hong Kong by Emirates Airlines, but
they could not find the Emirates Airlines' office in
Guangzhou. I suggested them to check Emirates airlines'
office in Hong kong. I was told to wait. I waited for 2
days and still no reply. Then I called a local friend and
got the number in Hong Kong after 5 minutes. I gave it to
the assistant manager and finally got the confirmation.
The hotel location for a business traveler might be good
but a little bit noisy. Many computer shops surround the
hotel. The McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken are right
there too.
