very old hotel, room and corridor smell bad,room beds were old, need to be changed

The hotel is located right on the Pearl River. It is a quite a large hotel. Was first impression was of stale smoke, which was a little off putting. The rooms are very large, two double beds. A little outdated though, I got the feeling it needed a bit of an update.

Very nice hotel, located on the Pearl River, very close to the cruises. The peolpe at the Reseption, the bell boys and eveyone at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They have live music in the lobby at night though i never had the time to check it out.
