Beijing never falls short of vast architectural complex of royal grandeur. The following Changling of Ming Tombs and Sacred Road are meant to display the highest power of Emperor Zhu Di, the one who gained the biggest achievement among 13 emperors in Ming Dynasty. Even walking along the Sacred Road, you’ve got to feel stunned by these invincible Memorial Stone Archway, Dragon and Phoenix Gate and vigorous Stone Creatures along both sides. |

Day 4 Beijing-Xi’an (Breakfast, lunch)transfer by rail
| Today's Activities | A gorgeous capital city is not always about blocks of royal buildings. To learn something about the life of local folks is not less interesting than to visit all the great halls around. Riding on the rickshaw through long passages of the ancient Hulong, you’ll be addicted to a mood of nostalgia. You’ll also fall in love with the way they enjoy leisure and all the lovely ingredients that light up their life. The second part of your playbill will get you close to what the Beijing guys and even Chinese people worship. The stunning Temple of Heaven best demonstrates Oriental architectural aesthetics and the deeply rooted awe of Heaven in ancient Chinese, from the emperor to the masses. Later we’ll lead you to Beijing Railway Station and we’re going to move on for another great city, Xi’an. Oriental wonders don’t stop all in Beijing, Xi’an is staring you in the face. Day 6 Xi’an-Shanghai (Breakfast, lunch)transfer by rail
| Today's Activities | Xi’an is always proud of its abundant chapters of history, so how to get the best book engraving ages of Xi’an? Definitely you need to go to Shaanxi History Museum. Thousands of valuable antiques come together to show you a vibrant civilization that Xi’an contributed to the world. Besides, in Tang dynasty, Xi’an(called Chang’an then) was known for its generosity towards various religions. People with totally different beliefs lived happy together at that time. The next two stops, Great Mosque and Muslim Quarter, will open you to a harmonious wonderland where Muslim architecture and Chinese traditional buildings light up each other. By the way, the area is a big stock of snacks. Having lunch there is great fun! Well, time to kiss Xi’an goodbye and move for your next destination Shanghai. You’re leaving the ancient capital city for the modern metropolis by train. |

Day 7 Arrive in Shanghai (Breakfast, lunch)
| Today's Activities | Everyone comes to Shanghai for the legendary Nanjing Road and the Bund, which we quite understand and satisfy as soon as possible. After breakfast and short rest at your hotel, you’ll find the fabulous Nanjing Road and the Bund topping your playbill in Shanghai. Isn’t that most exciting? Nanjing Road, the world-famous pedestrian street, brings you a gigantic army of lovely commodities. You can’t have a happier crazier shopping experience than on Nanjing Road. Also, Nanjing Road has a strong collection of wonderful restaurants, fitting whatever stomach. Having lunch there is a good entertainment. In the late afternoon there comes the best moment to appreciate all the amazing colors and silhouettes at the Bund. Towering walls of Gothic building will pull you back to decades ago when Shanghai started glittering Paris of the East. |

Day 8 Shanghai (Breakfast, lunch)
| Today's Activities | Since we spent a whole day shopping and reveling around, today should be about a delicate refined profile of Shanghai. What Yuyuan Garden means to Shanghai is what Summer Palace to Beijing. So just go and fully appreciate the crowning achievement among gardens in South China. You may not know much about Taoism or what a grand Taoist temple looks like, OK, City God Temple will confide in you. The more interesting thing is that you’ll taste all sorts of tasty local cuisine there. Thousands of yellowing pictures of old lanes in Shanghai(often called Longtang) can’t beat your huge surprise and joy when you yourself are facing Xintiandi. The tour along black-and-white Longtang lanes for sure gives you as much happiness as the rickshaw tour to Beijing Hutong. The last stop is Oriental Pearl Tower. Go and end the thrilling day on the skyscraper with the dazzing Shanghai night right under your nose. Xi’an
Xi'an features distinctive cuisines of China Northwest, such as various-shaped Chinese dumplings and other wheaten food. Muslim Quarter gathers lots of delicious local food like Rou Jia Mo and shish kebabs, etc.
(1) Here we highly recommend Chinese Dumpling Dinner, which also named Jiaozi, typically consist of a ground meat and/or vegetable filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough, which is then sealed by pressing the edges together or by crimping. As a must-try for visitors, it serves with Tang dynasty show. And it belongs to an [add on] item in the tour.
(2) Rou Jia Mo, also called Chinese Hamburger, is very similar to the Western hamburger essentially, but with different cooking method.
