Within 6 days classic attractions of Guilin, Yangshuo and Longsheng are all presented right before you! Apart from much celebrated spots like Ping'an Rice Terraces, Reed Flute Cave, Li River and Yangshuo West Street, the tour adds flesh pages to your memory of Guilin landscape and custom. Day 1 Arrive in Guilin

Today's Activities

When your flight arrives in Guilin, a city famous for its amazing landscapes, our local guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel. Today is mainly about restoring your vigor, but you wouldn't feel any bored cause the water city Guilin will entertain you with series of water parks. The area of Two Rivers and Four Lakes is highly recommended.

Day 2 Guilin - Ancient Zhuang Minority Villages - Ping’an Rice Terraces - Guilin (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

After breakfast you'll head for Ancient Zhuang Minority Villages from downtown Guilin. In the over-400-year villages you’ll be immersed in the sea of well-preserved stilted buildings whose scale is on top in China and the ocean of stone-shaped items such as stone path, stone bridge, stone mill, stone temple, etc. Note the carved lotus, sword, Tai-chi mark and the like in these stone tools and buildings. Meanwhile you also have a look at the featured headwear and garment of the Zhuang villagers, hearing their amazing ballad.

Since finishing the visit of Ancient Zhuang Minority Villages you’ll hike 1 hour towards Ping’an Inn that provides the lunch. Surprisingly you’ll discover fantastic rice terraces lies between Zhuang Minority Villages and Ping’an Inn. The good and unstirred scenery almost covers the whole hiking distance. What’s more, part of the hiking path even stretches right into the rice terraces, which is for sure a wonderful experience for all the hikers.

After the lunch, you’ll continue hiking for about 20 minutes till you reach No. 2 attraction of Ping’an Rice Terraces, The Moon in Company of Seven Stars. Just enjoy the magical joint work by nature and human intelligence. Afterwards let’s walk downhill to the parking lot and drive back to downtown Guilin.

Day 3 Guilin: Gudong Waterfalls - Elephant Trunk Hill - Reed Flute Cave (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

Touring Guilin asks for full exercise of not only your eyeballs but your limbs. Today you will meet with a moderate physical challenge right from the foot of Gudong Waterfalls. The pair of iron chains would assist you but you need to climb all your way up the rock along which the cool streams of waterfall splash you. Later, with a tasty lunch and an easy breezy 20-minute visit to Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin city, your eyes need to be active cause you’re heading for Reed Flute Cave. That cave is a natural platform of intense color riot. Stalactites, stone pillars, curtains and blossoms look so unbelievable under the purple-blue light. Wow, words fail you for sure!

Day 4 Guilin - Yangshuo: West Street - Yangshuo countryside Cycling (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

The tour of Guilin comes to the essence when you board Zhujiang Wharf, launching the great 4-hour Li River cruise. Guilin landscape will unfold itself like a scroll of unbelievable Chinese ink painting along the stretch of Li River. What’s more, the tasty local lunch will serve you well during your feast on the scenery.

About 2:30 P.M. you’ll reach West Street, the last wonderful present Li River holds for you. It’s hard to imagine the existence of such a lovely blend of Oriental culture and Western tone, yet West Street is right here to excite you. Inexpensive featured handicrafts and snacks are sure to meet your curiosity whilst the romantic Western bars wait along the street to smooth your weariness.

Is that all the playbill today? Definitely not! You still have the last idyllic Yangshuo countryside Cycling. Come and have fun being a carefree guy like the locals you see on your way cycling!

Day 5 Yangshuo: Li River hiking (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today's Activities

You can never get a more abundant visual feast on Li River scenery before our private car takes you to Xingping Town, the starting point of your 3-hour Li River hiking. Including two celebrated highlights, Reflection of Yellow Cloth and Nine Horses Mountains, the hiking route has been regarded as the favorite in the eyes of backpackers. Vibrant sunshine, magnificent parade of limestone hills and crystal-clear Li River work together to promise you an amazing scroll of Guilin landscape painting. The happiness of travelling will last till the coach drives you back to Yangshuo.

Day 6 Yangshuo - Guilin - Departure (Breakfast)

Hello Allan,

The Li River Cruise was so exciting. The Li An Lodge was excellent, and its rooms were so individual and elegant-looking. From the room my family and I enjoyed a spectacular view of the minority celebrating their harvest with torches all over the mountain. Plus, I love the Ancient Zhuang Village so much. It was a fairyland every inch. We would sure come next spring to see the glossy ponding rice terraces.

I have appreciated a great deal you professionnalism since November 2011 while preparing the extension part of our trip in China. I was very pleased about the fact that you did all you could to contact us for the Shanghai/Guilin flight time change. Also I was happy talking to you in Yangshuo when we asked for a "western style" meal !!!

Concerning the whole package you organized for us I can say that we were very satisfied about eveything. In Guilin and Yangshuo, Jennifer was very nice with us. She did all she could to please us. In spite of the bad temperature the day of our arrival and the next one, we found Guilin, the Li river, Yangshuo and its countryside wonderful, and the show absolutely extraordinary.
